Welcome to Rooftop
“Rooftop is one of the country’s leading place-based housing associations, providing high-quality homes to rent and buy. ”
Thank you for bearing with us over the past year.
We have worked hard to maintain services as best as we can during the pandemic. Some repairs have taken longer than normal, and replacement kitchens and bathrooms have been on hold since the latest lockdown. It has also taken longer to answer calls due to the record numbers calling us – more than 14,000 repairs have been requested since July 2020.
We want to reassure you that we will get back to pre-pandemic service levels as soon as we can and are recruiting extra staff to help. We have created a chart that helps show how we plan to return to normal service levels in line with the Government roadmap.
Welcome to Rooftop
Rooftop Housing Group (the 'Parent') is a non-asset holding, non-charitable Registered Society. It does not own any homes but provides all operational and corporate services. It was formed on 13 November 2003.
Rooftop Housing Association Limited is a charitable association and focuses on provision of affordable housing for all household types and needs.
What we do
We build houses in areas of need, allowing local people the opportunity to rent or buy in their community.
Young People Service
We offer support for young people aged between 16 and 25 years, providing specialist housing, support and advice
From the moment that you move in until the time you decide to leave us, you are at the heart of everything that we do.
Our team of dedicated neighbourhood officers are on hand to offer you advice and support about your tenancy and community
We want to keep your home to a good standard, and if it needs a repair, and if it's our responsibility, you should let us know as soon as possible.
Be part of the Rooftop community
We do what we do because we want to support our communities and there are many ways in which you can help us provide the best support and services to these communities.
From volunteering a couple of hours a week to help those joining in with groups and activities we have many ways to help you get out and enjoy your community.
For when life gets a little difficult we will also be there and we provide lots of support and advice to help you get back on your feet.
Older peoples services
Rooftop has a selection of independent living and ExtraCare accommodation available for people aged 55 and over, and for those with a disability.
This accommodation offers people with special requirements extra help and independence in a supportive and secure community, whilst giving them the freedom to enjoy their own home, which may be specially adapted.
