Location: Evesham, with travel to or work at our other offices, services, schemes, projects, housing, or development locations as dictated by the role.
£47,500 per annum, 37 hours per week

About the role
We’re on the lookout for a experienced and hands-on Senior Property Compliance Surveyor to join our dynamic team. This role plays a vital part in ensuring our housing stock is safe, secure, and fully compliant with statutory and regulatory requirements. Working closely with the Compliance Manager and wider team, you’ll take the lead on compliance programmes, contract management, and technical surveying—diagnosing defects, specifying remedial work, and safeguarding the wellbeing of our customers, contractors, and colleagues. From HHSRS hazards to CDM regulations, your impact will be felt across every corner of our service delivery.
About you
The ideal candidate for this role will be an experienced property professional with a strong background in building surveying or property maintenance, holding a minimum of an HNC qualification or equivalent and/or professional experience. A surveying qualification or equivalent is also essential. You will bring expertise in preparing technical reports, specifications, and schedules of work, with hands-on experience in contract supervision, building regulations, and managing housing condition claims such as disrepair. A sound understanding of housing management, landlord responsibilities, and construction, combined with current knowledge of health and safety legislation is essential. Financial awareness will be a key strength. You will have exceptional written and verbal communication skills, enabling you to prepare clear reports, influence stakeholders, and develop policies and procedures effectively. Highly organised with excellent attention to detail, you will thrive under pressure, managing conflicting priorities and delivering to deadlines. Customer-focused and IT-literate, you will also excel at building and maintaining strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring high standards of service delivery.
