As part of Rooftop Housing Group's housing management we carry out regular property MOT's to make sure that the right people are living in our properties.
We work with other social landlords and statutory agencies to detect fraud where the law requires it or where information sharing protocols are in place.
This collaboration has allowed us to join two new groups; the Mercian Tenancy Fraud Forum and The Gloucestershire Tenancy Fraud Forum. As part of these groups we share experience and knowledge to help find the best possible way to stop fraud happening.
Housing tenancy fraud is not a victimless crime – it stops homes being let to those in need, it costs money, and stops new homes being built... no one wins.

Apartments all have four bedrooms and each room is rented out separately. The bedrooms are fully furnished with a queen-sized bed and mattress, chest of drawers, combination wardrobe, bedside table and study desk.
The apartments have secure fob entry system, lifts and stairwell access to each level. In each apartment, you have a communal lounge and open plan kitchen and two communal shower rooms shared between the 4 bedrooms.
The cost of an apartment room is £540.71 per calendar month which includes all the bills*

Townhouses
Our four-bedroom townhouses are also let by the room have the following communal facilities: -
Downstairs there is a communal lounge, separate kitchen, toilet and communal garden.
First floor – shared bathroom
Top floor – Rooftop terrace garden
The bedrooms are all different sizes and have different facilities: -
Bedroom A is a large master en-suite room with a full bathroom. The bedroom is equipped with a built-in double wardrobe, chest of drawers, queen-sized bed and mattress, bedside table and study desk. The cost of this room is £679.89 to include all the bills*
Bedroom B is a single sized standard room with a single-sized bed and mattress, chest of drawers, combination wardrobe and study desk. The cost of this room is £500.24 to include all the bills*
Bedroom C is slightly larger than the B style room and has a queen-size bed with mattress, combination wardrobe, chest of drawers, bedside table, study desk and its own wash hand basin and mirror. The cost of this room is £525.83 to include all the bills*
Bedroom D has its own en-suite shower and washbasin but no toilet. A queen-size bed and mattress, chest of drawers, combination wardrobe, bedside table and study desk. The cost of this room is £612.40 to include all the bills*
*Bills included are council tax, electric, gas, water, tv licence (communal areas only) and communal cleaning every 2 weeks.
Rents are priced from 1st August 2021 and are increased annually.
