Following an open and competitive procurement exercise, we are now able to share that we are planning to award our new Grounds Maintenance contract to Krinkels UK (subject to the contract being finalised and signed).
Customers were involved throughout the process, and leaseholders were formally consulted. We would like to thank everyone who took the time to engage in the process and provide feedback.
The contractor is currently preparing to mobilise with services expected to begin in April. There may be some short-term disruption whilst the new arrangements are put in place, but we will work closely with the contractor to minimise any impact and catch up on services as quickly as possible.
Repairs and maintenance
The number of repairs reported increased considerably from 1700 to 2300 during December 2025 and January 2026. We’re aware there are currently some delays to our day-to-day repairs and that waiting times are longer for void properties (empty properties which need repairs, and gas/electric checks and brought to a safe liveable standard before customers can move into them). We’re exploring working with other contractors to help us through this period.
We have selected a preferred bidder for the new Repairs and Maintenance contractor and will share more details as soon as we are able to.
