Rooftop Housing Group are handing out Christmas hampers to customers facing challenging circumstances, hoping to bring them joy and support amid the high cost of living.
Thanks to the collaboration with Evesham-based Caring Hands in the Vale, we have distributed 50 hampers to our customers in most need in the area who may be experiencing financial hardship or other difficulties.
The hampers were carefully put together by volunteers from Caring Hands in the Vale and include essential festive delights such as festive treats and sweets, non-perishable food items and toys for children. Rooftop also donated £500 worth of food for the hampers.
In addition, Rooftop colleagues who work directly with customers helped identify families and individuals who need extra support. They also took part in the distribution of the hampers.
“We hope the hampers can provide a moment of relief during these difficult times,” Lisa Nicholls, Executive Director – Operations of Rooftop Housing Group, said, adding that “working together we can and we will continue to support our customers.”
After receiving the hamper, a grateful customer emailed us, “Thank you very much for (the) present. We are very pleased. We felt joy.”
