Customer Contact Advisor(12-month fixed term contract)

Evesham

£19,017 per annum, 25.5 hours per week worked flexibly to suit the successful candidate

Are you experienced in delivering excellent customer service and need flexibility with your work schedule? If yes this may be the perfect opportunity for you! We’re looking for a Customer Contact Advisor to be the friendly face (and voice!) of Rooftop – whether greeting visitors in our reception area or helping customers over the phone with their queries and concerns.

This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, team-focused environment and enjoys the variety that comes with supporting a busy housing service.

What you’ll be doing

  • Acting as the first point of contact for customers – in person and on the phone – offering helpful, friendly, and informed support.
  • Handling repair requests, maintenance issues and queries about rent accounts, housing benefits, and more.
  • Keeping  our reception area welcoming, tidy and stocked with up-to-date information.
  • Diagnosing and logging repairs accurately, coordinating contractors, and making sure the right job gets done at the right time.
  • Supporting with tasks like pest control requests, rechargeable works, minor aids/adaptations, complaints logging, and social media monitoring.
  • Helping your colleagues across teams to keep things running smoothly and putting the customer at the heart of everything we do.

What’s great about this role

We understand that life doesn’t always fit around 9 to 5 – and we believe great work can happen in all sorts of ways. While we do need someone who can be based at our Evesham office every Wednesday, we’re flexible about the rest of the week. If you can do 25.5 hours a week, at home or in the office, we’ll do our best to make it work for you.

About you

You’ll have:

  • Experience in a customer service environment – ideally in housing or a similar sector.
  • A confident phone manner and strong communication skills.
  • The ability to stay calm under pressure and juggle a variety of tasks.
  • Good IT skills and an eye for detail.

And most importantly, you’ll be someone who lives and breathes our values – someone who works together, makes things better, and does the right thing.

What we offer

  • Flexible working
  • Holiday buying and selling scheme
  • A day’s paid leave for your birthday or annual celebration
  • 2 days paid leave to help with a house move once you have completed your probationary period
  • Life assurance
  • Health cash plan, which includes a range of treatments including dental treatment, physiotherapy, consultation and 24 hour free confidential helpline
  • Company contribution to mindfulness and fitness. For example discounted gym membership, fitness classes or mindfulness apps.
  • Online discount with a number of retail shops, supermarkets, cinema, insurance and holidays.
  • Funded training and sponsored qualifications.
  • 2 days paid volunteering leave per year.
