Great Homes
“Rooftop is one of the country’s leading place-based housing associations, providing a range of homes to rent, part-own and buy. ”
As part of Rooftop Housing Group's housing management we carry out regular property MOT's to make sure that the right people are living in our properties.
We work with other social landlords and statutory agencies to detect fraud where the law requires it or where information sharing protocols are in place.
This collaboration has allowed us to join two new groups; the Mercian Tenancy Fraud Forum and The Gloucestershire Tenancy Fraud Forum. As part of these groups we share experience and knowledge to help find the best possible way to stop fraud happening.
Housing tenancy fraud is not a victimless crime – it stops homes being let to those in need, it costs money, and stops new homes being built... no one wins.
If you see or hear anything suspicious, please get in touch, We need you to help us to stamp it out.

Preparation
for Independence?
Preparation for Independence (PFI) is a programme undertaken by all residents to build a 360 skill set that provides each young person with the ability to live independently. Many of the young people who secure a place within Young People Service have not been able to experience an environment that provides this learning & that is where Rooftop is different.

Lydney
Supported living in the Forest of Dean
Lydney provides accommodation for up to 10 young people between the ages of 18 and 25 in the Forest of Dean.
Accommodation
Our young people's accommodation offers independence and security with staff on site to help with the difficulties our young tenants could encounter.
Each tenant has their own space and communal areas where they can relax together and really build a community.
At the different sites, there's a team of dedicated support workers who can direct the tenants to money advice, emotional support, mental health support, and ultimately help them to move on to their own tenancies, their own homes and move on with their lives.

Great homes
We build houses in areas of need, allowing local people the opportunity to afford to buy or rent in their community.

Your tenancy
From the second that you get your home, we will work Together with you to ensure that your tenancy with us is the best it can be.

Repairs
We want to keep your home to a good standard and if it needs a repair and if it's our responsibiliy you should let us know as soon as possible.
What people say

S.B, Gloucester Gateway
With thanks to the amazing staff, I'm now on the last step of being an independent woman and having a place of my own that I can call home.

Aaron, Gloucester Gateway
I find the support here incredibly helpful. Due to past trauma I have found it hard to trust but due to the staff I feel more confident in approaching others.
The staff have been my rocks.
