Support and Services
We provide temporary housing for up to 101 young people in one of our 10 schemes. This can provide a vital respite for a young person who is homeless, in need of guidance and security, or even escaping an abusive situation.
We offer temporary accommodation for homeless young people, which is made up of a range of rooms in hostels, self-contained partially furnished flats and bedsits. To be eligible for a place, you must have a need for support and need accommodation.
Support and Services
We are here to provide support and guidance – not to lecture. Our aim is for you to become optimistic about your future, and for you to develop a plan for how to make this happen.
When you leave us, our aim is that you will:
Preparation for Independence (PFI) is a programme undertaken by all residents to build a 360 skill set that provides each young person with the ability to live independently. Many of the young people who secure a place within Young People Service have not been able to experience an environment that provides this learning & that is where Rooftop is different.
Supported living in the Forest of Dean
Lydney provides accommodation for up to 10 young people between the ages of 18 and 25 in the Forest of Dean.
Our young people's accommodation offers independence and security with staff on site to help with the difficulties our young tenants could encounter.
Each tenant has their own space and communal areas where they can relax together and really build a community.
At the different sites, there's a team of dedicated support workers who can direct the tenants to money advice, emotional support, mental health support, and ultimately help them to move on to their own tenancies, their own homes and move on with their lives.
What people say
S.B, Gloucester Gateway
With thanks to the amazing staff, I'm now on the last step of being an independent woman and having a place of my own that I can call home.
Aaron, Gloucester Gateway
I find the support here incredibly helpful. Due to past trauma I have found it hard to trust but due to the staff I feel more confident in approaching others.
The staff have been my rocks.
Luke, Frampton Corner
Since I have lived here, I have had good support and a lot of help when needed. They are easy to talk to and have time to help. We are working on helping me move on.
