We are looking to recruit a Support Worker to deliver a floating Domestic Abuse support service throughout Worcestershire. This is a great opportunity to really make a difference. We are looking for someone who has previous experience of advocacy and support work with vulnerable people, together with a relevant professional qualification, a current driving licence and use of their own vehicle. Successful candidates will have experience of delivering one to one and telephone support, knowledge and understanding of domestic abuse issues and the needs of those affected by it. You must be able to work as part of a support team, with minimal supervision, be able to organise a busy workload and respond to unplanned demands. You will have excellent negotiation and presentation skills, be IT literate, using databases and Microsoft Office and internet communications. 2 out of hours shifts per month Enhanced disclosure and barring service (DBS) check is required Post is open to women only – in accordance with The Equality Act 2010, Schedule 9, Part 1.

The Repairs Manager will act as a lead responsible officer, monitoring and reporting on property health and safety compliances across all Rooftop Housing Group. You will assist the Asset Support Officer in the provision of an effective, customer focussed compliance servicing and repairs service to tenants. You will have management responsibilities for the Building Inspectors, to ensure that inspections, advice, repairs and contract administration are carried out in line with Rooftop’s policies and procedures. You will also be responsible for the management of repairs and the tendering/payments to contractors. You will be expected to improve service standards by reviewing performance information and customer feedback and taking appropriate action. Health and Safety will be of the utmost importance in this role, you will ensure the safety of staff, tenants, contractors and the general public. The successful candidate will hold a professional qualification in construction or equivalent. You must be able to lead, develop, motivate and coach the team in order to achieve agreed targets and objectives. We are looking for someone who has experience of developing and monitoring procedures and processes, managing contractors, managing budgets and change management. You are expected to have an excellent understanding of costs within the repairs and maintenance sector. Due to the nature of this role, you must have a full driving licence and use of your own vehicle. No agencies, please.
