-          Make a formal offer of tenancy explaining your rights and responsibilities

-          View the property with you before your tenancy starts

-          Make sure your new home meets our empty property standard

-          Give information on rent, other charges and welfare benefits

-          Offer information on support services available

-          Offer you a 2 ½ hour appointment with our handy-person within a fortnight of moving to help with odd jobs

-          Show you the location and operation of the stopcocks, heating appliances, mains gas/electricity and fuse-board

You will

-          Undertake a pre-tenancy assessment

-          Make a rent payment before you sign your tenancy agreement

-          Set up a direct debit to pay your rent

-          Claim the benefits you need to support you to pay your rent

-          Make sure you have home contents insurance

-          Move in when your tenancy starts and treat it as your main home
