The Community Fund
The Rooftop Community Fund is a scheme which is the responsibility of a group of involved customers. This group of residents works on your behalf to improve your housing and related services and the quality of life for residents and the wider community.
The group have been given approval to distribute funds to projects which benefit residents in their local communities.
What can the Community Fund be spent on?
Applications should show that they benefit the wider community as well as having a benefit for our residents. Applications for funding can be for grants from £50 to £1000. Here are some examples of what the fund could be used for:
- contribution towards a defibrillator
- a local playgroup needing to purchase new toys and equipment
Applications can be made by an individual resident on behalf of a group of residents, or by a community group as long as two or more residents are involved with the project.

What happens after I apply?
If further details or a visit to discuss the proposal is needed, we will organise a time to come and visit you. The application will then be discussed by the group and you will be informed of their decision.
