Non-Essential Works Suspended
Updated: Mar 25, 2020
Because of the new Government instructions during the #Covid19 outbreak, all non-essential repairs and works have been suspended from today (Tuesday 24 March) until further notice.
What this means for you is that if your repair is not in the following list, we will not be able to attend, and that if you have a repair booked that isn’t in this list, the appointment will be cancelled.
However, we will make sure that no customer is left with a property in an unsafe condition.
We will be attending to –
Uncontainable Mains water leak
Total loss of water to property
Total Failure of heating
Total loss of electrical supply
Insecure Property
Failed Smoke, heat or Co2 alarms
Electrical safety tests (to ensure your home is safe)
Gas emergencies
Gas servicing (to ensure your home is safe)
Gas turn on and Test (if already booked)
Gas un-cap.
We will also continue to do important compliance inspections such as fire alarm inspections and testing, and lift servicing etc.
We know that this is difficult news to hear, however the health and safety of our community needs protecting, and by limiting our work, we limit our operatives and your exposure to the #Covid19 virus.
All grounds maintenance works have also been stopped.
We are very sorry for the undoubted inconvenience caused by this, but we all need to pay our part in containing this national emergency.
