15 in 15 signals big year for development
Rooftop kicked of its 2015 development initiative by celebrating the transformation of under-used garage courts at three sites in Bishops Cleeve, Gloucestershire.
The old garages have been demolished and replaced with 21 much-needed homes for homes for affordable rent.
In total, Rooftop is celebrating the completion of 15 separate housing projects during 2015.
The first of these new schemes, at Bishop’s Cleeve, has delivered high quality and aesthetically pleasing homes at Linworth Road, Jesson Road and Courtiers Drive/Bishop’s Drive. All the properties are built to Code for
Sustainable Homes Level 3 which means they are at least 25% more energy efficient than homes built as recently as 2006.
The new development consists of: 4 x three bedroom bungalows; 1 x two bedroom bungalow; 12 x two bedroom houses; and 4 x three bedroom houses.
