Our Support and Care services have recently been awarded three stars in the Centre for Housing and Support (CHS) Service Excellence Standards. That’s the highest level an organisation can get!

This nationally recognised quality standard for support services allows us to display the logo which should give clients, families and referral agencies reassurance that the services we deliver are managed in a professional and sound manner.

This award has taken over a year to complete and involved collecting and submitting over 400 pieces of evidence from our support services in Gloucestershire and Worcestershire.

The presentation of the plaque and certificates were made yesterday at Wood Norton Hall. Carol Holt, Commercial and Business Development Manager from CHS, presented certificates to Hilary Deakin, Mel Dafforn and Sarah Phipps.

We were advised that we are the first organisation to achieve the new standards in this national quality award scheme. We were joined by many colleagues from our Worcestershire and Gloucestershire services, Debbie and Bev from our partners, Independence Trust, as well as some of our customers, Board Members and Ian Hughes.

Carol Holt from CHS said: “Everyone’s worked so hard it’s great to see what it all means! And of course it helps to reinforce the reason CHS started all this in the first place – to help providers deliver an excellent service!”
