Homes England Support Rooftop
Rooftop with Matrix Partnership are part of the Homes England Strategic Partnership.
Rooftop has confirmed plans to deliver 1,000 new homes in South Worcestershire and North Gloucestershire by 2023 having signed a strategic partnership deal with Homes England through the Matrix Housing Partnership.
In October 2018 Homes England, the Government’s “Housing accelerator” responsible for grant funding building programmes, published their full plans for how Homes England were going to help Housing Associations.
This 5 Year Plan, running across 18/19 to 22/23, formed Strategic Partnerships with Housing Associations to accelerate the delivery and augment the volume of Affordable Housing in the UK.
15 Strategic Partnerships have now been announced with an aspiration to deliver 27,755 affordable homes by the end of March 2022. (Though the plan runs to 2023).
The Strategic partners in full are
- Matrix Partners (including Rooftop).
- EMH Group.
- Great Places.
- Home Group.
- Places for People.
- Platform (the merged Fortis and Waterloo).
- Guinness & Stonewater.
The Matrix Partnership will be delivering an additional 2,257 homes in total including 275 Social Rent Homes.
Rooftop Housing Group is committed to delivering over 200 extra homes over the period of the Homes England Strategic Partnership. That is in addition to the existing Rooftop commitments under the Homes England Shared Ownership and Affordable Homes Programme.
Rooftop Housing Group will be building in our core areas of South Worcestershire and North Gloucestershire.
