Accreditations and awards
Rooftop Housing Group has successfully gained a number of accreditations and awards.
The Audit Commission is an independent watchdog whose purpose was to drive economy, efficiency and effectiveness in local public services. At our inspection in June 2008, they rated Rooftop as a 3 star service with excellent prospects for improvement – this is the top rating for a housing
association and we are one of only four natioanlly to have achieve this.

Investors in People
At Rooftop, we are proud of our gold award from Investors In People (IIP). This is a national quality standard, awarded to organisations that demonstrate high standards for people management and development. This award is in recognition of our commitment to engaging our staff through good communications, involvement, training and development.
Customer Service Excellence
The Customer Service Excellence standard, which Rooftop achieved in March 2011, provides a toolkit for organisations to drive customer focused change within their organisation. This standard was developed by government to drive public service organisations to be ‘efficient, effective, excellent, equitable and empowering, with the citizen always and everywhere at the heart of public service provision.'
Quality Assessment Framework
In 2010, our Support and Care service was awarded five ‘level A’s’ in a review of our services for young people, the highest possible accolade. The Quality Assessment Framework (QAF) is a national model assessed by Supporting People a government initiative that provides the funding framework for housing-related support services to vulnerable people.
Quality Management ISO Standard
Rooftop is certified to the standard ISO 9001:2008, an internationally recognised standard for quality management. This standard ensures that a documented system of processes and procedures is used to effectively manage programmed maintenance works from the initial tendering of an improvement project, through to completion of works, recording of customer satisfaction, dealing with problems and continuous improvement.
