Rooftop provides buildings insurance for all properties that we own, including shared ownership.
All tenants, leaseholders and shared owners are responsible for insuring the contents of their in the property, which includes carpets and floor coverings.
As a member of the National Housing Federation, we are able to offer a specialist affordable insurance scheme called ‘My Home Finance’. Average costs for contents insurance starts from as little as £3.51 a month for standard cover up to £9,000. If you are a tenant, any repairs or damage to your property should be reported through our 24 hour repairs helpline on 0800 0421 400.
Leaseholders and shared ownership residents
