Working in close partnership with board members, the Group Chief Executive oversees the Executive Team. Responsibilities include: Group governance; formal complaints; policy setting and control; business planning; people development; performance review; regulatory matters; audit; legal issues relating to development and external relations; responsibility for the positive and consistent image of the Group.
Responsible for new development initiatives; stock renewal; regeneration of existing stock and wider asset management, including shared ownership and void sales. Controls all aspects of programmed maintenance and oversees obtaining of Homes and Communities Agency grant funding.
Responsible for overall financial planning and support services; negotiates funding; manages internal controls; assesses risk and reports to regulatory bodies; ICT infrastructure and overall cost efficiency in a best value environment.
Responsible for housing and front line services to tenants; oversees lettings, estate management and day-to-day maintenance of general needs housing along with key worker and private sector renting.
Responsible for all issues relating to human resources and corporate services; health and safety; recruitment; communications; offices/buildings; business planning and project management; governance services and is the Company Secretary.
Responsible for support and care contracts with Gloucestershire and Worcestershire County Councils and their associated quality standards, provided by the Group and also by a range of partners to residents in our accommodation.
